Seniors enjoyed interacting with over 100 colleges, universities, and armed services at the 2025 CSRA College Night in Augusta, GA.

Thanks to the 36 colleges & universities that came out to meet with our students about their future plans!

The MMS football game vs Calhoun Falls that was scheduled for next Wednesday (9-17-25) has been canceled and the Chiefs will now play Bettis Prep on Tuesday (9-16-25). Game time will be 5:30 pm.

McCormick football will host Fox Creek this Friday night at 7:30 PM. It will also be Church Night, and we encourage everyone to come out and join us for a great night of football and community fellowship.

Our College Fair will be held Thursday, September 11th in the MHS Gym, 10:30-11:15. To make the most of your time, please register in advance. Health Promotion Specialist is a group of Registered Dental Hygienists that go into schools to clean teeth, apply sealants, and administer fluoride treatments. If you would like your child to receive these services, please scan the QR code to sign the consent form.

I’m excited to inform you that Makel Tillman has been selected to be featured as Fox 54 A+ Athlete next week on Wednesday, September 3rd . His story is tentatively planned to air during the following time frames:

Morning shows: 5 a.m., 7 a.m., and 9 a.m. hours
Early evening: 5:30 p.m. half-hour
Late evening: 10:30 p.m. half-hour
