Congratulations to JROTC students who completed their OSHA 10 Certification. Hats off to Aiden Freeman, Sariya Kelly, Kevin Lovo, Caziah Acree, Tiana Callaham, & Chase Still. Way to go! You all rock.

The athletic department will now recognize seniors that play soccer on Monday, April 27, 2026 vs. Horse Creek.  The game is scheduled to start at 6 pm.

I would like to thank and celebrate three young ladies. These young ladies took time out of their busy schedules to volunteer for Parent University. They entertained 23 MES/MMS students last night while their parents were informed about internet safety dangers. The presentation was titled "Don't Let Our Kids Get Caught in the Web."
Way to go, ladies. Thank you, Jakera Belcher, Maygen Wideman & Kirsten Dean.

​The soccer game vs Abbeville that was scheduled for today (3/26/26) at home has been postponed and will be played on Thursday (4/2/26) at 5:30 pm.

2026 McCormick Recreational Baseball Schedule

The soccer game vs Dixie today (3/19/26) has been postponed and will be played at a later date.

Due to Mead Hall not having enough players to form a team this year both softball games with them have been canceled.

Congratulations to Jahzara Smith for being the 1st student in MCSD history to make SCBDA's Region Band. We are very proud of you!

Due to the cold weather the track meet that was scheduled at Emerald today (3/17/26) has been canceled.

The softball game vs Dixie that was scheduled on Tuesday (3/17/26) has been postponed and will be played on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

​The JV baseball game vs Whitmire that was scheduled for Monday (3/16/26) will now be played on Tuesday (3/17/26) in Whitmire starting at 5:30 pm.

The soccer game vs Horse Creek that was scheduled for today (3/12/26) has been postponed.

​Due to the weather that moved through our area earlier, the softball game vs. Emerald that was scheduled for today (3/12/26) has been postponed. The home soccer match vs. Horse Creek will still be played today starting at 5:30 pm.

8th graders toured Abbeville County Career Center to learn more about their programs, including Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Health Science, Welding, Carpentry, Automotive Technology, and IT/Pre-Engineering. We were able to see our enrolled Juniors at work! You can learn more about ACCC and their program offerings tonight at their Community Night.
