Good afternoon,
This is a busy week. Here are a few reminders. Today we have a PTO meeting at 4:00. Please join us if you can.
Tomorrow, students in Grades K, First, and Second will be taking the MAP test. Be sure they are on time and get a good night's sleep. Encourage them to do their best. We can't wait to see the growth they have made!
Tomorrow evening we have the Drama Club performance and the Art Show. Please come out and support our students. Tickets are in the front offices of all schools.
On Friday, MES students may wear their PJs in honor of D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) Month. Be mindful that regular shoes and the regular dress code still apply. There is also a community event at the Senior Center at 5:00 pm hosted by the FCCA. MES students who attend this event will receive a dress-down day pass.
Friday, we will also wish students the best on their upcoming state and district tests. Our testing parade will begin at 12:30. Join us if you can. Contact Catherine Callaham for more information.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office.

THE BLOOD MOBILE IS HERE THIS MORNING, LOCATED IN FRONT OF MES. WALK-INS ARE WELCOME!!!
Save a life with us!
We are sponsoring a blood drive at MES on Monday morning. Stand up for those in need in our community by raising awareness and lending a helping hand! You never know when someone might need a blood transfusion to save a life. I myself needed a blood transfusion at birth. Without someone's generosity, I would not be here today. Please support this special cause near and dear to my heart! If you did not have time to sign up, we will be accepting walk-ins as well.
MES will also earn $500 for every 30 people who donate, and it will go towards our school's needs. Thank you so much for your support, Go Chiefs!
