I am a 2019 Graduate of McCormick High School and a 2023 Georgia Southern Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in fashion merchandising and apparel design. I love creating art, beauty, and fashion. I enjoy helping others, especially the students, and I love putting a smile on people's faces. I am also a soon-to-be mom due in September💕

My name is Laura Livingston. Kindergarten is my heart, and I've been teaching it for 18 years. I'm a huge music fan, and I really enjoy reading. Traveling is one of my greatest joys. Spending time with the found family that I've built is one of my other great joys. I'm pretty unique and nerdy with a wide variety of interests, so it's hard to really nail down specifics unless it comes to music.

Hi everyone, I'm Diondrah Best. I just joined the team as a TA. I spent the last three years working as a Vault Teller in my hometown. I'm really excited to be here and looking forward to collaborating with you all. Please do not hesitate to say Hi. I'd love to get to know you all better.

Hello! My name is Jase Peels, and I am ecstatic to be joining the McCormick Elementary School team! I am originally from the western part of North Carolina. I have been in the educational system for going on three years. My family comes from a long line of educators, and I am excited to bring my skill set to McCormick! I love being outside, whether it is hiking, playing a sport, or running. I cannot wait to see how this year unfolds at MES!

Welcome to MES Mr. Boyce!
Hello! My name is Lucas Boyce, and I am so excited to be the new PE teacher at McCormick Elementary School! I graduated from Lander University with an undergraduate degree in Physical Education in May of 2025. Growing up, my dream has always been to be a PE teacher. My dad was my coach, and my mom is a Special Education Teacher in Anderson School District 5. I am the youngest of four boys and grew up playing every sport imaginable with them. I am an active Chicago sports fan, except for the white socks, and love playing different sports in my free time. I am very excited for my first year of teaching and cannot wait to teach these students towards a physically active lifestyle!
