Good Afternoon Chiefs,
This is Dr. Hembree from McCormick County School District with an important message.
McCormick County School District plans to operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday January 21st.
Temperatures will be extremely cold on Tuesday morning, however, with wind chills between 10 and 15 degrees. All students are encouraged to dress in warm layers. We encourage parents of bus riders to please consider driving them to their bus stop in the morning so they may wait in a warm car. For students who are picked up at their homes, bus drivers will allow extra time for students to wait inside until their bus arrives.
Please note, we are carefully monitoring the forecast for Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, and will let you know as soon as possible if we need to make any changes to Wednesday’s schedule.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this message, and please stay safe and warm.
Happy Martin Luther King Day!
