Our wonderful Board of Trustees officially welcomed all of our Chiefs back to school at their August board meeting yesterday evening.

Good afternoon Chiefs, we wanted to let parents know that we just had a fire alarm go off. There appears to be a faulty sensor. There is NO FIRE. The kids did have to go outside while we investigated. Everyone is back inside now and has had the opportunity to drink water. Thank you for your attention to this message.

Andrea Lance presented a free resource through SCDE called Discovery Education to a group of educators on Wednesday, July 16th. Educators were told about the various tools to support math instruction, to include standards aligned lessons and evidenced based strategies. Discovery Education supports all subjects and can be used to supplement their curriculum.


CHANGE: The Board of Trustees meeting will be held in the McCormick High School Media Center, rather than McCormick Middle School. The meeting will still begin at 6 pm.
