Weather Update: On Thursday, August 31st, all facilities and schools within the McCormick County School District will operate on a two-hour delay. This means school start times are two hours later than usual. School bus riders should report to their bus stops two hours later than their usual times. The school day will begin at 10 am rather than 8 am. Parents are encouraged to download our new app, “McCormick County School,” for all school and district updates.

We will be in touch later on today in regards to any decisions pertaining to school tomorrow. Stay safe everyone!

On behalf of the McCormick High School football team and coaching staff, we would like to extend our greatest thanks to each of you for the part that you played on yesterday in helping to make our football camp a successful one. We would not have been able to host such a successful event without your hard work and dedication, and that was not taken for granted. Thank you so much for your support of the MHS football team. Go Big Red!!

Good evening, Parents/Guardians/Students.
This is Gena K. Wideman, your high school principal.
This week:
• MAP assessments for Reading and Mathematics will take place for 9th and 10th grade students.
• Club sign-up day is scheduled for Monday, July 31, 2023 during lunch. Students, if you do not sign-up for a club, one will be assigned to you.
That is all for this week, but remember, a quote by John Wooden says, “Do not permit what you cannot do to interfere with what you can do.”
Always do your best!
Have a great week ahead.
