In an effort to enhance the existing safety measures, the McCormick County School District will implement a policy requiring all students to utilize clear backpacks. Students engaged in extracurricular activities will be permitted to carry non-transparent bags for the purpose of storing items relevant to their specific activities, such as those related to band or athletics. Upon entering the school, all bags associated with extracurricular activities must be securely stored in lockers or designated areas. It is important to note that all bags are subject to search.
