March

We had many things happening at MES during March. Check out our student-created digital newsletter by clicking on this link: Newsletter Hompage Go to "Home" in the right-hand corner and choose the month you want to view.

In March, we had our Character Parade to celebrate Read Across America. See some pictures on this link. We also had a presentation from Dancing Drums. Students enjoyed this event which focused on positive character traits through music. You can also see biography projects by our 4th and 5th-grade students. Students selected a person to research and chose to share their information on a Memory String, Maze, or Puppet. They did a fantastic job! Check them out on this site. Our 5th graders have started their DARE class. This class focuses on decision-making skills. Fitness Friday is going well. We have walked enough laps that we have made it across the US and we are headed back to SC. Some students have so many laps they have graduated to the Wall of Fame!

These are just a few of the experiences we have had at MES that empower students to reach their full potential!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the school.
