JAG and JROTC Community Service

Charles E Fenwick CIV US ARMY CESAS (USA) and Corp of Engineers of J. Strom Thurmond Lake invited the MHS JROTC and JAG students to assist with maintenance at Hawe Creek Campground. The students were given a bandanna and a free pass to any Federal Park in the United States. The students worked diligently to clean and paint the grills at the campsite. " We are estimating 66 our of 68 grills and fire rings were restored. The current Federal figure for the value of service per hour of volunteer time is $27.20. This means that your school contributed $1,550 in value to the Hawe Creek campground."
Great Job JAG and JROTC!  Chieftain Pride!
