• Hello My name is Elzye Harrison. I am a alumni of McCormick High School class of 2001.  I attended Newberry College for two years on a athletic scholarship, and things didn't workout there.  I enrolled in Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina and earned a Bachelor's in Communication.  While at Morris College I was able to continue to play the game of baseball.  After graduating from Morris College I worked in media broadcasting for a while.  Then I did work in manufacturing for little while.  I found my love for education and athletics in 2008.  I accepted a job with SC GEAR UP which landed me in Dorchester, South Carolina.  I begin to work as a Graduation Coach, Assistant football, and Assistant baseball coach at Woodland High School.  During my time there I really enjoyed seeing the students achieve in academics and in athletics.  I was there for seven years and realize it was time to give back what was giving to me.  I accepted the position of Permanent Substitute and Head Baseball Coach.
