MHS Denim Day
- MHS Denim Day
As a school community, we are joining in this protest against sexual violence by wearing jeans on Wednesday, April 28th. In order to wear jeans students and staff must either give $1 or donate items (such as: paper towels, toilet tissue, kleenex, hand soap, trash bags, bottled water, new underwear, sweatpants, sweatshirts, or t-shirts [any size for clothing items]) which will be given to Beyond Abuse, an organization dedicated to leading the Abbeville, Greenwood and Laurens community beyond sexual violence and child abuse through awareness, advocacy and action.
For students, you are ONLY allowed to wear jeans. You must still wear a white, red, or black collared shirt. In addition, you must wear your "Denim Day" button on your shirt on April 28th.
Please see Ms. Lyles to make your donation so that it can be recorded. The last day to make your donation is April 23rd. You will receive your "Denim Day" button on April 28th during 1st Block.
