New Hire Information
Congratulations and welcome to the McCormick County School District family! Here is some important information:
Certified-Your salary is based on your years of experience and degree status, as determined by the State Department of Education. If you are a 190-day employee (teacher) starting at the beginning of the year, your first pay date is September 10. All staff members are required to receive their paycheck through direct deposit.
Classified-Your salary is on a scale or a range, depending on your position and experience, your salary will be determined using the scale or range
All employees working at least 30 hours a week will be offered benefits. You will have an appointment with the Human Resources Coordinator to complete all documentation for your benefits.
All staff members will be issued a @mccormick.k12.sc.us email address. All certified staff members will be issued a device (laptop) to utilize as well.
